Ever present silence
Some might find it funny but if you notice silence is ever present.
Take a moment. May be even as you are reading this. And notice the obviously miraculous. Each sound that you hear. No matter where it is coming from. Has a beginning and then a certain time of presence and then it goes. A sound is never constant.
And if you intensify your awareness of all the sounds that you are listening to in this moment, you will find that from silence all noise arises. And then to silence it merges.
No matter where you are, whether in office, or home or on a street. Naturally and effortlessly, take a pause. Witness all the noise around. And to your surprise, the sound will take you deeper into the silence.
The ever alluding yet ever present silence.

What is the quality of my silence? No matter what answer comes, hold it lightly and let it go.
