Trusting Life

“How can I trust everything will be fine?”

A deeper question that I see many seekers struggle with no matter which path they have chosen and how many years they have spent on the path.

Whether they seek the lofty image of being enlightened or they seek a better job, better career, better relationships or like a CEO friend of mine says a “better next quarter”.

Sometimes we are so afraid of the future that we keep investing huge amounts of energy to make sure everything is handled. Life is actually very simple. Whether you trust it or not, it will continue unfolding.

If you are forcing yourself to trust by some forced meditation or affirmation, just get in touch with the base energy of this action. It is no more pure. You are trying to manipulate your own mind. And the effort is coming from a place of “If I do this, everything will be fine”.  And if I don’t then everything won’t be. I find this hilarious. In this universe there is no “in order to”. X doesn’t necessarily lead to Y, just because it seems so sometimes.

And precisely that’s one of the reasons many so-called manifestation exercises don’t work.

If at the core, there is trust; one need not be bound to anything. One will create fearlessly. No technique is needed. You flow and life flows with you.

Ask a simple question…Why I don’t trust? Whatever answers you get, just let them go. Hold them lightly with a possibility of them being baseless. Just do it gently, slowly experientially expand your trust and see what happens.

Its just sometimes people seem to get themselves tied up in unnecessary knots over something thats very simple.
